Hale - Hoffmeister

Joice Ann Whitby and Ronald F. Hale of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Theresa Elaine Hale, to Thomas Hoffmeister. He is the son of Carol Carter of Cape Girardeau, and the late Clarence "Joe" Hoffmeister and the late Myron "Boomer" Carter.

Hale is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed with Cape Girardeau School District as a library media assistant at Central Junior High School.

Hoffmeister is a graduate of Central High School. He is an engineer with Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway.

An outdoor wedding is planned in late September in Cape Girardeau.
