Gross - Myers

Chris and Debbie Gross of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassie Gross, to Ed Myers. He is the son of Ed and Nancy Myers of Jackson.

Gross is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., a master of arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and is completing a Ph.D. in political science at UMSL. She is a labor and employment relations specialist with the U.S. Treasury Department in St. Louis.

Myers is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland, and a master of science degree in information systems management from the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He is an IT project manager with Department of Defense at Scott AFB, Ill.

A private ceremony is planned Sept. 30 at Pere Marquette in Grafton, Ill.
