Griffin-Phillips

Deanna Kay Griffin and Stephen Mark Phillips announce their engagement along with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Griffin of Bonne Terre, Mo., and the Rev. and Mrs. Wayne Phillips of Park Hills, Mo.

Griffin, formerly of Kelso, Mo., is a 1990 graduate of Central R-III High School in Park Hills. She received a degree in business education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995, and is completing a master's degree in special education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a high school special education teacher in the Farmington R-VII School District.

Phillips is a 1991 graduate of Central R-III High School. He received a degree in elementary education from Central Methodist College in 1995, received a master's degree in school administration, and is pursuing a specialist degree from Southeast University. He is a sixth grade teacher in the Farmington School District.

A July 5 wedding is planned at Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Park Hills.
