Ford-Bailey

Freddie and Angela Ford and Betty Avant of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Felicia Janette Ford of St. Louis, to John Sherrill Bailey of East Lansing, Mich. He is the son of Paul and Deborah Bailey of Mason, Mich.

Ford is a 1992 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Murray State University in 1996, and a juris doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001. She is an attorney at Dubail Judge, PC, in St. Louis.

Bailey is a 1990 graduate of Mason High School. He is a litigation specialist with General Motors in Lansing.

A May 28 wedding is planned at Washington Metropolitan AME Church in St. Louis.
