Essner-Heuring

NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Timothy and Jeanne Essner and Joseph and Margaret Heuring, all of New Hamburg, announce the engagement of their children, Leonna Danielle Essner and Dean Patrick Heuring.

Essner is a 1998 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School, and received a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. She is a reporter for the Standard Democrat in Sikeston, Mo.

Heuring is a 1991 graduate of Kelly High School. He is parts manager at Mid-America Power Equipment Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
