ENGAGEMENTS: WICKHAM-WELLS

Mr. and Mrs. William S. Wickham Jr. of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Anne Wickham, to Paul Lathan Wells. He is the son of Mary and Jerry Palmer of Anna, Ill., and Roy Wells of Licking, Mo.

Wickham is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995. She is employed at the License Bureau Office in Cape Girardeau.

Wells is a graduate of Eudora High School in Eudora, Kan. He is employed at Ole Hickory Pits in Cape Girardeau.

A Sept. 16 wedding is planned at Common Pleas Courthouse.
