MALDEN, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Luther G. Stokes of Malden announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiletia Kari Stokes, to Kenny Boyce Copley, both of Kennett, Mo. He is the son of Jack Copley of Blytheville, Ark., and the late Melba Copley.
Stokes received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master's degree in physical education from Arkansas State University. She is teaching physical education and health at the middle school in Kennett.
Copley received a bachelor's degree in social science from Arkansas State University. He is completing his master's degree in educational administration at Southeast University. He is teaching social studies and coaching boys varsity basketball at Delta C-7 High School in Deering, Mo.
A July 21 wedding is planned at Malden United Methodist Church.
