Cecil and LaNora Shrum of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Kay Shrum, to Patrick Dan Kelly, both of Mission Viejo, Calif. He is the son of Nancy Kelly of Coto de Caza, Calif., and the late Jack Kelly.

Shrum is a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. in Irvine, Calif.
