JACKSON -- James D. and Mary Jo Shelton of Jackson have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jodie L. Shelton, to Adam Herman. He is the son of Gene B. Herman of Berkeley, Calif., and Roslyn Brown of Norfolk, Va.

Shelton is director of owner relations for Vistana West Inc. in Denver, Colo.

Herman received a bachelor of science degree from East Stroudsburg State College in East Stroudsburg, Pa., and a bachelor of arts degree in history from Metro State in Denver. He is a teacher at Chaparal High School in Parker, Colo.

A June 10 wedding is planned in Outer Banks, N.C.
