ENGAGEMENTS: ROTH-ADAMS

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- David and Betty Roth of Altenburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa K. Roth, to Nathan P. Adams of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Karla Adams of St. Mary, Mo., and the late Paul Adams.

Roth is a 1996 graduate of Perryville High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in elementary education in May 2001.

Adams is a 1994 graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration in May 2000. He is employed at Schemel Companies in Perryville, Mo.

A Dec. 23 wedding is planned at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Mo.
