Mike and Bonnie Pierce of Cape Girardeau and Dave and Trish Seabaugh of St. Louis announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Nicole Pierce, to Brandon Michael Swanner. He is the son of Don and Madelene Swanner of Scott City, Mo.
Pierce is web project manager and in charge of electronic guest service correspondence at Build-A-Bear Workshop World Bear Quarters in St. Louis.

Swanner is a 2000 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
A May 26 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
