JACKSON, Mo. -- Elmer and LaWanda Macke of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Rose Pickens of Millersville, Mo., to Eric Brian Hoxworth. He is the son of Kenny and Gloria Hoxworth of Marble Hill, Mo.

Pickens is a 1989 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau.
