Michael and Janna Middleton of Metropolis, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Renee Middleton, to Micah Paul Janzow. He is the son of Fred and Susan Janzow of Cape Girardeau.

Middleton is a 1995 graduate of Massac County High School, 1997 graduate of Shawnee Community College, and 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Central High School.
