Sharon Manker of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Jennifer J. Manker, to James Allen Weber. He is the son of Charles and Marilyn Weber of St. Louis. Sharon Manker of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Jennifer J. Manker, to James Allen Weber. He is the son of Charles and Marilyn Weber of St. Louis. Manker is also the daughter of the late Joseph W. Manker.

Manker is a 1996 graduate of Venice High School in Venice, Fla. She is pursuing an associate's degree in applied science at Metro Business College.

Weber is a 1994 graduate of Northwest R-1 High School at House Springs, Mo. He is a senior technical services manager with Southwestern Bell.

A May 4, 2002, wedding is planned in St. Louis.
