ENGAGEMENTS: LEGRAND-LAWSON

Ralph and Verneda LeGrand of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Marie LeGrand, to Allan James Lawson, both of High Ridge, Mo. He is the son of Isaac and Alice Lawson of High Ridge.

LeGrand received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an area sales manager with Famous-Barr at Crestwood Plaza.

Lawson received an associate's degree in applied science from St. Louis Community College, and earned certificates in radiologic technology and ultrasound technology. He is a diagnostic medical sonographer at St. Anthony's Medical Center.

An Oct. 28 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
