ENGAGEMENTS: JEPSEN-MAYBERRY

Janine Jepsen and Kenny Mayberry of Cape Girardeau announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Larry and Mary Jepsen of Gravois Mills, Mo. He is the son of Sylvia Mayberry of Perryville, Mo.

Jepsen received a bachelor of science degree in psychology in 1991 and a master's degree in psychological counseling in 1995, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is the education and training manager at Bootheel Healthy Start in Sikeston, Mo.

Mayberry received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast University in 1993. He is a detective sergeant with Southeast University Police Department.

An outdoor wedding is planned Sept. 16 at Enchanted Gardens in Jackson, Mo.
