DELTA -- David and Nancy Hester of Delta have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rae Hester, to Adam Wesley Farmer. He is the son of Kevin and Pam Farmer of Cape Girardeau. DELTA -- David and Nancy Hester of Delta have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rae Hester, to Adam Wesley Farmer. He is the son of Kevin and Pam Farmer of Cape Girardeau.

Hester is a 1999 graduate of Delta High School, and is pursuing a degree in technical graphics at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Rogers Jewelers in Cape Girardeau.

Farmer is a 1997 graduate of Central High School. He is employed at Kasten Masonry Sales Inc. in Jackson.

A May 20 wedding is planned at Cornerstone Church in Cape Girardeau.
