JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hayden of Jackson, Sharon Meadows of O'Fallon, and Ed Meadows of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Hayden, to Chris Hoehne. Hayden is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a project coordinator with Maritz Marketing Research Inc. at Fenton.

Hoehne is a graduate of Fort Zumwalt High School. He received a bachelor of education degree in mathematics from Southeast University. He is a teacher and coach at Fredericktown High School.

A July 15 wedding is planned at Precious Moments Wedding Island in Carthage.
