ENGAGEMENTS: HARPSTER-ELLER

JACKSON, Mo. -- Natalie Stein of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Dane Harpster of St. Peter, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda S. Harpster, to Ben L. Eller, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Eller of Salem, Ill.

Harpster is a 1996 graduate of South Central Community High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2000. She is pursuing a master's degree in industrial management at Southeast University. She is employed at the School of Polytechnic Studies and in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology at Southeast University.

Eller is a 1995 graduate of Salem Community High School. He received a bachelor of applied arts and science in architectural studies from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in December 2000. He is employed at Image Architects Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

A May 26 wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church in Salem.
