ENGAGEMENTS: GUFFEY-STRICKLAND

Ted and Gail Guffey of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Shanna Dione Guffey, to Jason Todd Strickland. He is the son of Robert and Jenny Strickland of Cape Girardeau.

Guffey is a 1995 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000.

Strickland is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in health management from Southeast University in 1999. He is an exercise therapist for the acceleration program at St. Francis Medical Center.

A Nov. 11 wedding is planned at Lynwood Baptist Church.
