JACKSON -- Karen Gentry of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Amy Rachelle Gentry, to Christopher Todd Haertling. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Haertling of Jackson. Gentry is also the daughter of the late James R. Gentry. Gentry is a 1986 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in family services from Southeast Missouri State University in 1990. She is a licensed agent with Wills Insurance...

JACKSON -- Karen Gentry of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Amy Rachelle Gentry, to Christopher Todd Haertling. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Haertling of Jackson. Gentry is also the daughter of the late James R. Gentry.

Gentry is a 1986 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in family services from Southeast Missouri State University in 1990. She is a licensed agent with Wills Insurance.

Haertling is a 1988 graduate of Jackson High School. He is self-employed with the Haertling family farm.

An Aug. 26 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
