ENGAGEMENTS: FARMER-VANDEVEN

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Scott Farmer of Ottawa, Ill., and Sandy and Doug Schmidt of Morris, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Farmer, to Bart Vandeven, both of Leopold. He is the son of Norbert and Millie Vandeven of Leopold and Kathy and Kevin Solts of Boise, Idaho.

Farmer is a graduate of Morris Community High School, and attended Illinois State University. She is employed at Laboratory Corp. of America in Cape Girardeau.

Vandeven is a graduate of Leopold High School and Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed at Procter & Gamble.

A May 5 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church.
