ENGAGEMENTS: EICHHORN-BERKBIGLER

Butch and Connie Eichhorn of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodie Louise Eichhorn, to Thomas Paul Berkbigler Jr. of Jackson, Mo. He is the son of Thomas and Kathy Berkbigler Sr. of Cape Girardeau.

Eichhorn received a degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2000, and is pursuing a master's degree in child and family relations at the university. She is employed at the University Child Enrichment Center.

Berkbigler received a degree in physical therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis. He is a physical therapist at Kenny Rogers Children's Center in Sikeston, Mo.

An April 20 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
