ENGAGEMENTS: BREWER-ALSDORF

CHAFFEE -- Sylvan Brewer and Elaine Huestch of Belleville, Ill., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Robin Leigh Brewer, to James Edward Alsdorf, both of Chaffee. He is the son of Joe and Pat Alsdorf of Chaffee.

Brewer received a degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is completing a master's degree at Southwest Missouri State University. She is employed by Bell City R-II School District.

Alsdorf is a 1999 graduate of Southeast University. He is employed at Biokyowa Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

A June 10 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
