SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Dave and Margo Emerson of Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of Scott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Emerson, to Ryan Shaffer. Emerson is a 1997 graduate of Scott City High School, and a 2001 graduate of Friends University in Wichita, Kan. She is employed at the university.
