East-Pierce

Jarred and Thelma East of Cabool, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Dionne East, to Jay Michael Pierce. He is the son of Howard and Denise Pierce of Cape Girardeau.

East is a 2001 graduate of Cabool High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in conservation and wildlife management from College of the Ozarks in 2005. She is a naturalist with Missouri Department of Conservation at Rockwood Reservation Nature Center in Wildwood, Mo.

Pierce is a 2001 graduate of Central High School, and attended St. Louis Christian College. He is employed at Circuit City in Hazelwood, Mo.

An April 1 wedding is planned at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church in Cabool.
