Dumey - Villa

John and Pam Dumey of Gordonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Anne Dumey, to John Dennis Villa, both of Springfield, Mo. He is the son of Bill Ross and Diane Villa of Las Vegas, Nev.

Dumey is a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in hospitality and hotel administration from Missouri State University in August. She is employed in Centralized Computer User Support at the university.

Villa is a 2004 graduate of Parkway South High School in St. Louis. He received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and gerontology from Missouri University in 2010. He is a graduate assistant with Centralized Computer User Support, and is pursuing a graduate degree in public administration at the university. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 484th Transportation Battalion in Springfield. He served in Iraq at Joint Base Balad in 2009 to 2010 with the 739th Multi-Roll Bridge Co. of Granite City, Ill.

A May 26 wedding is planned at University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield.
