Fred and Kathy Ducharme of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Rose Ducharme, to Anthony Joseph Colon. Fred and Kathy Ducharme of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Rose Ducharme, to Anthony Joseph Colon. He is the son of Margie Colon of Columbia, Mo., and Juan Colon of Hollywood, Fla.

Ducharme is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Missouri. She is an engineer with Rockwell Automation in Olathe, Kan.

Colon is a 2000 graduate of Hickman High School. He is pursuing a degree in criminal justice from Columbia College. He is employed with FMH Benefit Services in Olathe.

A May 30 wedding is planned at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Columbia.
