Dowd-Hottes

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Howard and Cheryl Dowd of Glenallen, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Marie Dowd, to Scott Allen Hottes. He is the son of Dorothy Hottes of Christopher, Ill., and the late Louis Hottes.

Dowd is a graduate of Woodland High School and Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is a respiratory therapist at Southeast Missouri Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Hottes is a graduate of Pinckneyville High School and Southern Illinois University. He is a respiratory therapist at Southeast Hospital.

A July 31 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Mo.
