Dougherty -- Wirtel

Dan and Kim Dougherty of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Dougherty, to Charles Joseph Wirtel, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Mary Wirtel of St. Louis and the late Carl Wirtel.

Morgan is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in child development from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a private nanny.

Charles is a 2007 graduate of Christian Brothers College High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology management and construction management from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a manager at The Buckle.

A June 27 wedding is planned at Carillon Beach, Florida.
