Dost-Harrison

Gary and Sheri Dost of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Sue Dost, to Michael Keith Harrison, both of Columbia, Mo. He is the son of Michael and Judith Harrison of Jackson.

Dost is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003, and expects to receive a doctorate of medicine from the university's School of Medicine in May 2008.

Harrison is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the university in 2003, and expects to receive a master's degree in business administration from the university in December. He is a project engineer with PepsiCo.

An Oct. 27 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
