Dillow-Smithey

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jerry and Cathy Dillow of Jonesboro and Robert and Gayla Smithey of Ware, Ill., announce the engagement of their children, Laura Ann Dillow and Brandon Davie Smithey.

Dillow is a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, and a 2006 graduate of Shawnee Community College. She is majoring in communication disorders and sciences at Southern Illinois University. She is employed at First National Bank of Jonesboro.

Smithey is a 2000 graduate of Shawnee High School, and received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University in 2006. He is a self-employed farmer.

The couple plans to be married Aug. 11, 2007.
