Davis - Proffer

Randall and Susan Davis of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret "Meg" Davis, to Matthew Adam Proffer. He is the son of Bernard and Alice Proffer of Jackson.

Davis is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is a marketing specialist with Mississippi River Radio.

Proffer is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He is a graduate of Southeast University's Law Enforcement Academy. He is a deputy with Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department.

A Dec. 5 wedding is planned in Negril, Jamaica.
