Davis - Bell

David Davis of Chester, Illinois, and Sally and Steve Ramsey of Jonesboro, Illinois, announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Nicole Davis, to Dr. Cody Wayne Bell, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Mike and Donna Bell of Cape Girardeau.

Maria is a 2001 graduate of Cobden, Illinois, High School, and a 2004 graduate of John A. Logan College. She is a registered dental hygienist at Jackson Dental in Jackson.

Cody is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, 2007 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He is a dentist and co-owner of Jackson Dental.

A Sept. 27 wedding is planned at Old St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
