Cummins - Sanford

Ron and Annette Cummins of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittney Faith Cummins, to Steve Alan Sanford Jr., both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Steve and Brenda Sanford of Scott City.

Cummins is a 2007 graduate of Scott City High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She is a registered nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Southeast Hospital.

Sanford is a 2004 graduate of Scott City High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2009. He is employed in industrial sales at Cape Electrical Supply.

An Oct. 15 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Mo.
