Cox-Sides

Carlyn and Luther Haynes and Donald Cox Jr. of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Marie Cox, to Ian Christopher Sides. He is the son of Rene and Duane Statler of Jackson and Steven Sides of Lakewood, Colo.

Cox is a 2001 graduate of Central High School. She is employed at US Bank in Cape Girardeau.

Sides is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a universal certificate in heating and air conditioning. He is employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter.

A June 5 wedding is planned at Hanover Lutheran Church.
