Cox-Robertson

Jim and Barbara Cox of Ellington, Mo., and Steve and Mary Robertson of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their children, Jamie Annette Cox and Christopher Tarver Robertson.

Cox is a graduate of Ellington High School, and received a master's degree in English from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. She manages corporate and foundation relations at Missouri Botanical Gardens and teaches English literature at Webster University, both in St. Louis.

Robertson is a 1993 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University, a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently writing his Ph.D. dissertation. He is an instructor at Webster University, serves on the board of World Federalist Association in Washington, D.C., and does freelance consulting on strategic communication.

A March 2 wedding is planned at Oakland House in St. Louis.
