Cowley - Carter

Randy and Maureen Cowley of Mercer Island, Washington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Morgan Cowley, to Benjamin Bart Carter, both of Beverly Hills, California. He is the son of Rob and Beth Scheper of Cape Girardeau and Bart and Mary Carter of Midlothian, Texas.

Chelsea is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She is an event coordinator with Sequoia Productions in Los Angeles.

Benjamin is a 2005 graduate of California State University-Northridge. He is a production director with G'Day USA at the Australian Consulate-General in Los Angeles.

A May 16 wedding is planned at Stolpman Vineyards in Solvang, California.
