Tracy and Debbie Childers of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Elizabeth Childers, to Kendall Magana of Murray, Ky. He is the son of Edward Magana of Arlington, Texas, and Melissa Sayre of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Childers received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in May.

Magana received a bachelor's degree in business management from Southeast in 2009, with an organizational leadership focus. He is a missionary on campus at Murray State University.

A June 24 wedding is planned at Cape Bible Chapel.
