Carpenter - Zlokovich

Dean and Sharon Carpenter of Boaz, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Ann Carpenter, to Aaron Michael Zlokovich of Lexington, Ky. He is the son of Neil and Dr. Martha Zlokovich of Cape Girardeau.

Carpenter is a 2009 graduate of Community Christian Academy in Paducah, Ky. She is attending Blue Grass Community and Technical College in Lexington, and plans to complete a bachelor's degree at the University of Kentucky.

Zlokovich is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in communications from Truman State University in 2010. He is owner and operator of a small marketing and advertising business in Lexington.

A Sept. 1 wedding is planned in Paducah.
