Carlton-Engelhardt

Jim and Cheri Honey of Ullin, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jen Carlton, to Mick Engelhardt. He is the son of Dr. Richard and Karen Engelhardt of Paris, Tenn., and the late Elaine Engelhardt. Carlton is also the daughter of the late Mike Carlton.

Carlton received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is employed by Timberline International Forest Products Inc. and at Outback Steakhouse in Cape Girardeau.

Engelhardt received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast in 1997. He is employed at River Bend Rice Seed Co. in McClure, Ill.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church.
