Cambpell -- Essner

Glenn and Lee Ann Campbell of Cape Girardeau and Mary and Steve Young of Benton, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Maryssa Jo Campbell, to Tyler Joseph Essner, both of Advance, Missouri. Essner is the son of Terry and Shelly Essner of Jackson and David and Tammy VanGennip of Advance.

Maryssa received an associate's degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher's assistant at Southwest Elementary in the Dexter School District.

Tyler received a bachelor's degree in general studies from Southeast Missouri State University. He is pursuing a master's degree in special education through Fontbonne University. He is a special education paraprofessional at Meadow Heights School District.

A July 9 wedding is planned at Kelso, Missouri.
