Buchheit - Cox

Henry Buchheit of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of his daughter, Ruby Buchheit of Leadwood, Mo., to John Cox of Sullivan, Mo. He is the son of Vernon and Eleanor Cox Sr. of Sullivan. Buchheit is also the daughter of the late Ada Buchheit.

Buchheit is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received bachelor and master degrees in education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a special education teacher with West St. Francois County School District.

Cox is a graduate of St. Clair High School. He received bachelor and master degrees in psychology/business and communication disorders, respectively, from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. He received a master's degree in elementary administration from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., and completed a specialist in human services in learning resources from Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg. He is a special education teacher with Potosi School District.

A July 5 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
