Steven and Beverly Boren of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Boren, to Bryan Wessell. He is the son of Maureen Tygett of Jackson, Mo., and the late Dan Wessell.

Boren expects to receive a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in May.
