Black - Mehner

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Nolan and Cathy Black of St. Louis announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Black, to Matthew Mehner. He is the son of Hilbert Mehner of Perryville.

Black is a 1999 graduate of Oakville Senior High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Truman State University in 2003, and a master of medical science degree from St. Louis University in 2006. She is employed by Washington University as a physician assistant in cardiothoracic surgery at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Mehner is a 1999 graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in accountancy in 2003, and a master of accountancy in 2004, both from Truman State University. He is a senior audit associate, CPA, with KPMG in St. Louis.

An Oct. 24 wedding is planned in St. Louis.
