Bennett - Powderly

CHAFFEE, Mo. — William and Stephanie Bennett of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittney Alexis Bennett, to Shawn Patrick Powderly. He is the son of Debbie Dennis of Chaffee, and the late Patrick Powderly.

Bennett is a 2003 graduate of Chaffee High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Powderly is a 2001 graduate of Chaffee High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 2007. He is a physical education teacher and softball/baseball coach with Chaffee School District.

A Nov. 29 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
