Beasley - Schaefer

Leslie and Rita Beasley of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessie Marie Beasley, to Arthur Alan Schaefer. He is the son of Cleophus and Carolyn Schaefer of Bell City, Mo.

Beasley is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005, and a master's degree in business administration in 2009. She is a project coordinator at the university's Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Schaefer is a graduate of Bell City High School. He is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing at the university.

A winter wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
