Baker- McElrath

Norman and Deborah Baker of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Susan Baker, to Kelly Gerald McElrath. He is the son of Jerry and Dreda McElrath of Jackson.

Baker is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. She is pursuing a degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing.

McElrath is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2003 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was recently hired by the FAA as an air traffic control specialist for the Memphis ARTCC, and will attend training this fall in Oklahoma City, Okla.

An Aug. 27 wedding is planned at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
