Bahr-Thorne

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Larry and Elizabeth Bahr of Scott City and Karen Bahr and Kevin Robinett of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Nicole Bahr, to Bandit Wayne Thorne. He is the son of Kenny and Connie Thorne of Benton, Mo.

Bahr is a graduate of Advance High School, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Thorne is a graduate of Kelly High School at Benton. He is employed at Do It Best Corp. in Cape Girardeau.

A Sept. 4 wedding is planned at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Mo.
