Arnold - Winans

Chap and Connie Arnold of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Scarlet Rachelle Arnold, to Derek Alan Winans. He is the son of Beverly Winans of McClure, Ill.

Arnold received a degree in elementary education from Oral Roberts University, and a master's degree in administration from William Woods University. She is a first grade teacher with Cape Girardeau School District.

Winans received a degree in business management from Southeast Missouri State University, and was a member of the basketball team. He is a hotel analyst and marketing specialist with Commercial Real Estate Specialists.

A March 12 wedding is planned at Cape First.
